Whether you plan to walk or go on a hiking tour come and travel along the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, bask on the beaches of the Emerald Coast and sample the local riches: oysters, mussels, salt meadow sheep… For those who love sailing, let the Rance Valley tempt you. Nature lovers will also enjoy tourist spots such as the Mesnil forest, Villecartier forest, the Sougéal marsh where the fauna and flora can be observed.

If stones could talk they would have many tales to tell… Tales of builders from the Dol-de-Bretagne Cathedral, of the black cat in the Combourg Castle, the Count in the Bourbansais Castle, armour in the Montmuran Castle, of shipowners in the Malouinière manor houses and of the Belle Époque in the listed villas in Dinard. The stones of our region could tell more tales with Chappe's Telegraph, tales of powder kegs with the Saint-Père Fort; of wind and tides with our restored coastal windmills; and of course, not forgetting to wander along the Ille-et-Rance Canal's nature trail to enjoy the charm of its canalside towns!

Come and enjoy the fresh air with the sand yacht! Reach for the sky while climbing or microlighting, enjoy striking some balls on the golf courses, hoisting the sails in our watersports centres, hiking, horseriding, cycling…, and making the young and old laugh in our leisure parks. You can even learn about the tides, oyster farming and mussel breeding in the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay. The less foolhardy will prefer a boat cruise or wandering in the parks to enjoy the botanical delights. For the nostaligic, our museums will share all their secrets.
